CATHOLIC WAR VETERANS CHRISTMAS DINNER 2013

Christmas dinner for the Weslaco CWV members was held at the Cortez Hotel in downtown Weslaco, Texas this Friday December 20th 2013. By picture time half of the attending veterans had already left. The night owls that stayed for the picture are (l-r) Jose Trevino, Andy Esquivel, Oscar Flores, Abel Flores, Pete Martinez, Jose Cortez, Luis Garcia, Olby Hughes & Isaac Vallejos.

 

Frank Gonzales enjoyed his dinner & is relaxing before his long drive home to Edinburg. In the back ground is Oscar Flores & his wife, with back to the camera is Mrs. Sylvia Torres.

Enjoying their Christmas dinner in the beautiful Cortez Hotel are (l-r) Mr. & Mrs. Jose Trevino & Mr. & Mrs. Rene Silva. Did we eat too much? Yes! There was enough to go around, even some take home plates were available.

Mr. & Mrs. Andy Esquivel pose for a picture after dinner. They look like they enjoyed themselves. Food, friends & this special time of year make for a beautiful time.
